11/2012 Hot Blast Stove for Voest Alpine Stahl Donawitz

BEROA Deutschland carried out the refractory erection of the hot blast stove WE2 from 4th of july to 20th of September, within the scheduled time, with zero accidents and respecting client guidelines and quality specifications.

Last references on Solar Power Plant Towers: Gemasolar at Fuentes de Andalucía, Seville (Spain) 141m high; operating. Crescent Dunes in Tonopah, Nevada (USA) 200m high; under construction. KHI Solar One in Upintown (South Africa) 200m high; on project phase.

09/2012 BEROA Australia won contract in Lihir Island

BEROA Australia in partnership with Koch Knight Australia won contract in Lihir Island (Papua New Guinea) of Newcrest Mining.

BAU installed refractory and membrane lining of one autoclave. This is the largest brick lined autoclave in the world spanning a massive 47 m. long with a diameter of 5.6 m.

The shareholders of SORG-KARRENA Service GmbH, Lohr am Main, have decided to end their joint venture retroactive as per 31.12.2011.
KARRENA Glas has been transferred to BEROA Deutschland GmbH. The remaining SORG-KARRENA Service GmbH will continue its activity, under a new name, inside the SORG Group.

01/2012 BEROA builds central tower of Tonopah Solar Park

Kic and Altac, BEROA’s Group subsidiaries, have been awarded by ACS, subsidiary of Cobra, with the design and construction of a solar tower at Tonopah, Nevada. One of the first solar plants with this technology in the USA. Project will end in Autumn 2012.
