The word "Beroa" comes from Basque, a language spoken in the northern part of the Iberian Peninsula. The root "Bero" means heat and the name “Beroa "Group" thus translates into "group specialized in heat".

This name captures the essence of the Group because the companies that form Beroa all are specialized in the management of thermal energy through the engineering and assembly of refractory material and the construction of industrial chimneys.
