RCC was estabilished in September 2005. The Company has professional staff with in-depth experience in the design and construction of industrial chimneys, reinforced concrete tall structures, freestanding steel chimneys and anti-acid linings.

RCC has been operative in the Gulf area since 2005 in joint-venture with our sister company CRI Intl.(Italy). During last five years, RCC has received some important contracts, covering all different fields of activities, some completed and some still under construction.

Among others:

Chimney Work: Design and construction of no.1 chimney (150m.) with 2 liners; Marafiq Project Units 5 and 6.

Time is passing but the economic crisis is still with us. Back before summer of 2011 we all thought that the worst was already behind us; unfortunately we were wrong. The end of 2011 and so far 2012 has proven to be very tough economically. While we issue this newsletter, many are wondering if the Euro will even last, others are betting it won’t. Obviously consumption and consumer confidence have not rebounded as previously projected and consecuently investments are being continuously postponed, which has created increased competition and reduced margins. While investments have been long postponed, some projects cannot be held back any further and therefore the market is beginning to show positive improvements in selected geographical areas. Being a company that offers smart solutions to our customers world-wide, has helped us. We are developing projects in all markets. Our clients stay with us because the blend of technology, quality and competitiveness that we are able to offer, remains unmatched. Thus we have been able to increase our order income by 9% to € 362.2m. and our revenues by 1,5% to € 312m. Our activities in the emerging markets have increased by 25% last year.

But we are neither relaxed nor satisfied.

We know that we have to continue our adaptation to this new situation. We know that competition will only increase in the coming years and that we will have to work in a very demanding environment.
