In the year 2007, Beroa has grown to be the world's leading group in engineering and installation of refractory materials and the design and construction of industrial chimneys. The great size of their structures is similar to the success that Beroa pursues on an international level. During the last year, Beroa invoiced more than 381 million euros, "which puts us," explains Chief Corporate Officer Jorge Álvarez, "in the greatest moment in our history." The growths of the sectors in which it operates and the international expansion centred around the opening of new markets and the integration of local companies have been the keys leading to the end results.
The above invoice figure means a growth of 82% with respect to 2006. These sales are even larger – about 47% larger than the initial prediction at the beginning of 2007, which predicted an invoice figure of 313 million euros.
"Throughout the last few years, we have become a global operator in the market of refractory installation, as well as in the construction of chimneys and large structures. This allows us to be the reference point for the majority of large industrial groups throughout the world," Jorge Álvarez points out. "Our success is a consequence of the commitment of some highly-qualified teams of professionals who apply the best technologies and processes in order to give the client the solutions that they need," he adds. |

The 45% of our invoicing total is generated by energy and environmental sectors, the rest is evenly divided between the iron, steel, glass, construction, chemical and petrochemical industries.
Within the list of recently performed jobs, great projects have come forth, such as the reconstruction of a 200-metres-high, four-duct chimney in the United Kingdom; the repair of a coke oven in France; the construction of a refrigeration tower in Belchatow, Poland; or the maintenance of the Ternium Hylsa Plant in Monterrey, Mexico. |

Since Beroa was created ten years ago we have remained faithful to our principles. Those principles have been the basis of our success and have enabled us to become the current international leaders in the engineering and assembly of refractory material and the construction of industrial chimneys.
Our leadership skills have become emblematic in all the markets the group is involved in. This is due to the fact that our teams are highly specialised and experienced, and that we have a quality and competency commitment to all our clients.
Quality, efficiency and safety in the workplace are fundamental in our company. For that reason, apart from fulfilling all legal requirements, we have developed internal procedures and training campaigns for our staff.
